You knew it wouldn’t take very long before Russell Westbrook would declare he’s done talking about ex-teammate, Kevin Durant. But before any of that could take place, Westbrook was read another insult intended towards Russ and his Oklahoma City Thunder teammates. And this time, the emotional point guard snapped back at KD.

“That’s cute, man. That’s cute,” Westbrook bristled. “My job is to worry about what’s going on here. We’re going to worry about all the selfish guys we got over here, apparently. We’re going to figure that out.”
Westbrook pumped the brakes shortly after quoting KD’s “Selfish” dig. Instead of adding any gasoline to the fire, Westbrook simply said that there will be no more KD questions because he isn’t going to answer to them.
“I don’t care. To me, it doesn’t matter. My job is to worry about here,” Westbrook said. “Honestly, I’m really tired of talking about it. So any time anybody asks me another question, I’m just not going to answer. Just FYI. I’m not talking about it no more.”
Unfortunately for Russ, there is a slim chance of this happening because the Thunder take on the Dubs on the 3rd of November in Golden State. In other words, enjoy your two weeks of no KD talk, Russy.
